The Greek Theater

The William Randolph Hearst Greek Theatre, known locally as the Greek Theatre, is an 8,500-seat amphitheater owned and operated by the University of California. Enjoy the concerts and events such as the Berkeley Jazz Festival, pop, rock, and world music concerts. The theater also has UC Berkeley graduation ceremonies, occasional addresses by noted speakers, and other events. Past speakers include President Theodore Roosevelt, William Randolph Hearst, and the Dalai Lama. Furthermore, finding a parking can be tough if one comes late. If street parking is unavailable, guests will need to park in one of the near by garages. Have a look at the website for the schedule of current events.
