If you don’t feel like hiking, but want to enjoy an amazing view, Grizzly Peak is the place to go. Grizzly Peak is a summit in the Berkeley Hills area on the border between Alameda and Contra Costa county. The peak was named after the California grizzly bear which inhabited the local area until the late 1800s. The area is within the boundaries of Tilden Regional Park and behind the University of California, Berkeley campus. Furthermore, the views are stunning from the top of the summit. Guests have said that it feels like you’re up in the sky standing in between the clouds. Make sure to visit this location if you are staying at the Berkeley Rodeway Inn.
